I am removing a single lever, 1 hole sink, kitchen faucet. it is a danze faucet. It does not have a nut on it under the sink, but it appears to be tightened. what other ways are these faucets attached to the sink? i have the lines disconnected but i cant remove the faucet. i took the handle off too, but i dont see any screws or anything. please help!!!
There were to screws in the bottom but they werent screwed into a nut. could it just be sealed with some sort of gasket?

okay so this is really a question that my mom wants the answer to. we’re looking for a new kitchen faucet. she wants it to be high arched, with separate hot and cold handles and a soap dispenser. and it needs to be a good brand, but also needs to be available in stores like home depot or lowes or something like that. can anyone give me some links to good kitchen faucets?

Bathroom sink faucet had a flow of water that decreased slowly over a period of time. Finally it refused to do anything when the faucet handle is turned. However, it is slowly dripping water. I really love the modern/contemporary/sleek look. Think track lighting, geometric couches and chairs, straight lines, simple curves, silver, solid colors, minimal color. My furniture reflects that look. Think black, geometric, glass, brushed metal silver.

But the problem is I’m moving into an old, old, old apt whose fixtures can’t be changed or replaced–management would not allow that–nor do I have the budget to replace them myself even if I wanted to temporarily during my lease. The ceiling lighting is quite old in style, the faucets are turn knobs from decades ago, the cupboards have a regular non-gloss generic wood trim, the bathroom and kitchen floors are tiled with a non-modern look, not to mention the overall structure of the closet doors, counters, etc.

What are detailed suggestions of how I can reconcile the old look of my apt. with my very modern furniture? I really yearn for a modern, tranquil, minimalist, sleek , clean look…whites, blacks, silvers, neutrals, maybe a splash of color here and there but not a lot.

By the way, I’m a guy who’s young and recently out of grad school, in case that helps. I like a modern masculine/neutral look, for example, neutral-colored bamboo sticks instead of flowers.

I just want to know how do you repair that type of kitchen faucet mentioned in the link? Since there seems to be like a tool you have to use on the side of the handle, I just don’t know what type of tool you have to use? or how to open the handle.

I just had granite counter tops installed and I just bought a brand new Delta faucet. I think the faucet would look much better if I can remove the plate somehow so that you can see the granite between the handles. Is it possible? If so, how?

Textured the walls with orange peel, white appliances – Also the kitchen is off the mudroom and laundry room which I tiled with the Italian tile as well. Should I paint both rooms the same color or different? I want a natural look, but I do not have a theme or a color I like.
